About The Global Impact Summit
The Global Impact Summit is a purpose-built gathering for people shaping the future of impact.
Born out of the Impact Stage at SXSW Sydney, the Summit represents a natural evolution — taking what was tested, trusted, and deeply valued, and giving it a home of its own.
Designed to bring together corporates, funders, social enterprises, and not-for-profits, the Summit prioritises formation, access, and connection over scale or spectacle. It creates environments where people can listen deeply, learn from one another, and build relationships that rarely happen within traditional sector boundaries.
Built with a long-term horizon, the Global Impact Summit is intended to grow carefully into a trusted annual gathering for the impact community in Australia, the Asia–Pacific region, and beyond.

A note from the founder:
The Global Impact Summit exists because I’ve seen, firsthand, how powerful the right environment can be.
Through my work at Charitabl., and through leading the Impact Stage at SXSW Sydney, I watched people from completely different worlds sit side by side — corporates next to community leaders, funders next to founders, seasoned practitioners next to emerging voices. When the noise was stripped away, something rare happened: people listened, trusted one another, and began imagining what impact could look like if we worked better together.
What stayed with me wasn’t the scale of the stage, but the quality of the moments.
The Global Impact Summit is our attempt to protect and extend those moments — to create a space that is intentional, human, and built for the long term. It’s not about performance or prominence. It’s about formation, access, and the quiet confidence that comes from being in the right room with the right people.
Charitabl.’s role is simply to guide and steward the platform — to sit behind the scenes and help connect people, ideas, and opportunities so others can lead the work that matters.
My hope is that the Summit becomes a place people return to each year not because they have to, but because it helps them think more clearly, lead more courageously, and stay connected to why they do this work in the first place.

Mike Gore is the Founder of Charitabl. and the Global Impact Summit. With over a decade of leadership in the not-for-profit and philanthropic sector, Mike has worked across more than 30 countries supporting humanitarian, social impact, and community-led initiatives. He previously served as CEO of a national charity and brings deep experience in fundraising, leadership, and digital transformation. Mike is driven by the belief that generosity is a universal human language, and his work focuses on removing barriers to giving while creating environments where people can connect, collaborate, and lead meaningful change.
Joce Goto

Joce Goto is Co-Founder of Charitabl. and a strategic leader with a background spanning social impact, partnerships, and experience design. Known for her ability to curate inclusive, human-centred environments, Joce plays a key role in shaping how people experience connection, belonging, and collaboration across Charitabl.’s platforms. She brings a rare combination of operational discipline and emotional intelligence, ensuring that complex initiatives remain grounded, accessible, and values-led. Joce is particularly passionate about building safe, trust-rich spaces where diverse voices can be heard and meaningful relationships can form.
James Kozina

James Kozina is an experienced stage and partnerships manager with 20 years experience supporting complex, purpose-led events and initiatives. He was the Stage Manager for the Impact Stage at SXSW Sydney 2025 and a core member of the Charitabl. team, playing a key role in delivery, partner coordination, and on-the-ground execution. James has worked closely with Mike Gore for over ten years, including during Mike’s tenure at Open Doors, and is widely regarded for his calm leadership, precision, and ability to build trusted relationships under pressure. He continues to lend his expertise to the Global Impact Summit as it evolves.
